What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnosis is a deep state of relaxation and is a natural and effective technique for accessing the subconscious mind - the key to unleashing your potential, changing your unwanted habits and behaviours and finding solutions to your problems and concerns. The subconscious mind is the source of many of our problems and self-images. Our beliefs, habits and behaviours are stored as information.


Hypnotherapy helps by getting in touch with your unconscious mind. Our unconscious mind knows everything about us and forgets nothing. Just because something is now out of our conscious awareness doesn’t mean to say it isn’t stored within our unconsciousness. Let’s say somebody was suffering from anxiety and doesn’t really know how it started. It may be that something traumatic happened a long time ago which is completely out their conscious awareness now. In hypnotherapy we can explore the route cause by tapping into the unconscious.


Hypnotherapy can be used in almost everything and I truly believe that everybody would benefit from such a powerful technique.


During the hypnosis you will hear everything I say and you will be able to respond, so feel free to open your eyes, move or stop me at any point. If you can’t hear me just let me know. If you’re a little worried which is normal I can always try a little tester of hypnosis with you first so that you are comfortable.  


I cannot make you do anything that you do not want to do. I cannot help you quit smoking if it’s not truly you that wants to quit, it maybe that you have somebody in your life that wants you to. The same goes for any hypnotherapy.


Hypnotherapy is about changing your belief system and this comes from deep within you. It will only happen if you want it to happen.
